Understanding that the current law firm model just doesn’t work to develop true, long-lasting attorney client relationships, Meghan founded her firm, Law Office of Meghan Stokes LLC, in 2013 with the client relationship as a priority and focus.  By charging clients flat fees for most cases, clients know what they are paying up front and are never surprised by what is on the bill.  Gone are the days where a client decides not to get important legal advice because they do not want to get charged for a phone call or email.  At the Law Office of Meghan Stokes LLC, clients can ask any question, no matter how big or small, and not be charged. Relationships are the focus; document creation is simply the by-product of that relationship.

Meghan focuses her practice on the areas of business transactional law, commercial litigation, real estate, and estate planning.  Through her practice, she helps clients run their business while minimizing legal hassles, protect their family and assets through estate planning, develop their real estate investment portfolio, and buy or sell real estate.

Meghan obtained her undergraduate degree in Marketing from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her law degree from John Marshall Law School.  She was licensed in 2011 and has been serving clients under her firm since 2013.  Meghan is a member of the River North Business Association and holds a seat on the Board of Directors.  She is also a member of the BNI Networking Masters chapter and the Metropolitan Club.
